Popular Snowbird RV Routes- Florida to the Northeast & Canada Adirondack Mountains RV Campground Stopover - Lewis, NY  Magic Pines Campground in Lewis, New York is a quiet and peaceful place in the Eastern Adirondacks with friendly neighbors that are Seasonals. It's about 258 miles from our previous stop in Milford, PA and about 145km from Montreal, 35 miles from Lake Placid and 134 miles North of Albany, NY. Located on the Eastern side of the Adirondack Mountains and not to far off from I-87 - the Adirondack Northway - a major Interstate running from NYC to the Canadian Border and continuing to Montreal, this campground is more rustic and does not offer the daily crafts and games that other larger campgrounds offer. That lack is more than made up for with the quiet and serene surroundings that we used to find in the mountains. Magic Pines is owned by 2 caring and friendly people.They have a small store with some RV supplies - they also have propane and campfire wood for sale. There is a mini-golf course, a nice pool, small laundry facility, horseshoe pitch and playground equipment for the kids.
